Dai Davies is a former Head of Royal Protection and a former Divisional Commander in the Metropolitan Police Service. A long and distinguished career with the Policer Service culminated with his appointment in 1995 as Operational Unit Commander in charge of Royal Protection for HM the Queen and the Royal Family.
He is an acknowledged media expert on security terrorism and policing related issues. Given the current interest in royal news Dai Davies is a regular on BBC, Sky and other international media platforms.
Dai has been an Ambassador for Kidscape, the National Children’s Charity for two decades and has a close interest in child protection issues.
