Seven potential housing Chobham sites of varying sizes are in the frame as Surrey Heath shapes up its local plan for development over the coming years. The sites are:

  • an area of Flexlands Farm at Station Road, a plot right next to the new Tesco;
  • Chobham Rugby Club playing field;
  • land north of the new Chobham Lake Estate off Castle Grove Road;
  • a small piece of land at the back of Windsor Road, accessed from the little lane that runs from Leslie Road behind the back gardens of some Windsor Road properties;

and three plots that would almost join up...

  • Little Heath Nursery at Burr Hill Lane;
  • Mincing Lane Nursery, Mincing Lane;
  • A little patch and ribbon of land at Waterperry, Waterperry Lane;

Other Suggestions

Another suggestion is to extend Chobham Village Car Park

Your views and/or alternative suggestions on housing and other plans for future development can be sent by May 26th by post or through the council website: http://www.surreyheath.gov.uk/planning/planningpolicyandconservation/siteissuesoptions.htm
